Changing your roof to Colorbond or Zincalume is one of the best ways to drastically improve the appearance of your home.

Roof Ties

Replacing a tied roof to corrugated iron requires extra roof ties to adhere to Australian standards. As Colorbond and Zincalume are light weight roof systems, old tiled roofs don't have sufficient roof ties or triple grips to insure the roof keeps firmly intact.

Depending on the structure of your house, from double brick to brick veneer or stud walls, we can determine what roof ties your home requires.

Included in the revamp of your new roof is the use of Buildex class 4 tek screws, new 40mm steel roof battens, flume vents to exhaust fans, dektites to breather pipes and the use of .6 flashings around all penetrations, chimneys and boundary walls.

If you are concerned about council approval, don't stress - we cover that too. All tile-to-tin re-roofs require a builders permit as new roofs need to meet the proper safety and energy rating standards.
